Our Goats & Practices
Our Goats
We raise goats with close attention to cleanliness, health, and consistency. Most of our herd is born and raised on our farm — not brought in from wholesale sources.
Rotational Grazing
We rotate our goats through large pasture lanes so grass has time to rest and regrow. This supports healthier pasture, healthier soil, and animals that spend their days on natural forage.
Feed & Care Transparency
Our goats live on pasture and eat primarily grass and locally sourced hay.
To be transparent:
- • Mineral blocks may be used as needed
- • Sweet feed may be used occasionally for herding
- • We use medications and antibiotics when needed for animal welfare (for example, parasites or illness)
Animal welfare comes first, and we believe transparency builds trust.
Clean Farm Standards
We keep the farm clean and well-maintained because it matters:
- ✓ Clean water access
- ✓ Maintained lanes and fencing
- ✓ Regular observation and hands-on care
